For the INSIDE OUT exhibit currently running at Artspace Uptown Artist Lofts in Michigan City, Indiana, these six mixed media collages are from my “Splashes of Color” series. Vintage texts and layers of acrylic form the colorful backgrounds for my quirky style of re-using old images from books, catalogs, and magazines. Found objects add texture, interest, and focal points.
