Here are a few color value studies that I’ve been working on in the studio. A few quickies for your enjoyment!
These are 5″x5″ and I found that I really enjoyed working in a square format. It’s always fun to change things up a bit. Most of the source materials here are vintage papers – catalog, maps, sewing pattern, sheet music, magazine ads – a few newer “touches” in a couple of the pieces, but I think they all work together.
