“Fidget Bingo” is an original handcut paper collage on a vintage BINGO card.
I love working with old game pieces and BINGO cards are a favorite. The title of this piece comes from a title from a TIME magazine article in the early 1970s – “A Case of the Fidgets.” An old Boy Scout Handbook gives us the correct way to sneak up on something, which I decided was the Golden Plover. Certainly don’t want to be fidgety while hunting fowl. Other items that one might fidget with include a button, the O-74 BINGO piece and a section of a measuring tape – 21 inches, positioned over I-21.
